On permanent display :

Sally Brealey Mixed Media Artist & our resident artist & partner at Wolds Village

My work in currently coming under the theme of “What lies beneath”, using mixed media, acrylic inks & found objects to create texture. My imagination runs wild with ideas of what can be found under the physical & emotional surface of our lives. I am always happy to be commissioned to create your favourite place. I also a mosaic artist & have created a 25ft mosaic dragon in the woods. Many other examples of my work can be found around Wolds Village

Penny DeCorte Ceramics

I am a ceramic artist producing sculptural art designed to be sited in the domestic market and inspired by animal life, nature’s spirals and fossils. Working with a mixture of contemporary style and traditional methods I am continuously challenging my creative skills and fulfilling a passion for working with clay. Inspiration is achieved by researching a subject that captures my imagination. Through design and the stripping away of the distraction of detail I create my own recognisable style of fluid sensuous form. The hand-built forms are often highly burnished and smoke-fired to achieve individual markings, generating a tactility that begs to be touched and enjoyed.

Jill Hanson Stained Glass Artist

The Jill Hanson studio is run by two friends Sharon and Peter, who through a shared love of stained glass design and create unique pieces of art in line with the modern tastes of today. Our contemporary stained glass art is framed and designed to sit or hang in a window. This allows natural light to illuminate the glass and flood your home with a spectrum of colour bringing a vibrancy that no other medium can achieve

Steve Dove Acrylics

My paintings encapsulate the East Riding of Yorkshire’s undulating Wolds whose fields of colour and texture cover the land like a giant patchwork quilt. I also take inspiration from the coastline of hidden villages with their colourful cobbles and narrow streets as well as the seaside towns, their harbours crammed with fishing boats. Once described as naive cubism, my work is bold in colour and imagery, often with a strong narrative I paint mainly in acrylic and derive inspiration from the present and my past.
